This shot was very difficult. The sun was very bright so the portions of the canyon in the shadows would be very dark, or the sunlit part would be very over exposed if the camera was in one of the automatic modes. This shot would have been a snapshot if I had not balanced the exposure between light and dark. The best I could achieve is a very pretty "picture".
