A single columbine. Some might call it plain, and just a flower. Yet I can not. I see the beauty and can not help but stop and admire the gentle fade from one color to the next. The delicate structure, the perfect shape.

For me, this is a "photograph". Even tho there are other flowers just inches away, the background fades to nothing almost instantly. The vibrant, yet subtle colors are something one could just admire for hours.
