This is 1st of a series of 5 "Photographs" in which I suceeded in caputuring the essence of the fireworks display at the Elks Country Club in Rapid City SD.

The exposure is relatively quick. Fast enough to just capture the shell as it first begins to bloom yet short enough not to overexpose the shot. Of the two fireworks displays I was able to catch this year, this is the better of the two.
